The process

From First Call to Final Inspection

Engineered septic work follows a deliberate sequence. Here is exactly what happens when you reach out — and exactly how our role works.

  1. You describe the property

Call (803) 000-0000 or send the quote form. New build, replacement system, failing field, or land you're evaluating — a minute of details is enough to start.

  2. A specialist evaluates the site

We connect you with an independent local pro who visits the property, digs the test pits, and determines the soil profile and seasonal water table. This evaluation is what the entire design rests on.

  3. The system is designed & permitted

The pro designs the system the site requires — mound, aerobic unit, drip, or conventional — and submits the SCDES application. The Permit to Construct must be issued before work begins.

  4. Installation

The pro installs the system to the permitted design: tank, treatment components, and dispersal field, built for the ground conditions the evaluation found.

  5. Inspection & handoff

The system is inspected and approved. The pro walks you through operation and maintenance — engineered systems reward owners who understand them.

  6. Free quote, no obligation

You receive the pro's quote before committing to anything. Requesting it costs nothing, and you're never obligated to hire.

Full disclosure

How Ravenel Septic Pros Works

Ravenel Septic Pros is a referral service, not a contractor. We do not perform installations, repairs, or inspections ourselves, and we do not employ the pros we connect you with.

  • When you call or submit the quote form, we match your request with an independent local septic professional serving the Ravenel/Hollywood/Charleston County area.
  • That pro contacts you directly, evaluates your property, and quotes the work under their own business, license, and insurance.
  • You decide whether to hire them. We recommend asking any pro for proof of licensing and insurance before work begins.
  • Quotes arranged through us are free and non-binding. We are compensated by the professionals in our network, never by adding fees to your quote.

If you prefer to talk it through first, call (803) 000-0000 — we're happy to explain any part of this.
